Connecting Through Play and Creativity at IDD
Amantara hosted the Media Padel Competition and Students & Community Gathering at IDD PIK2, bringing together media, students, and creative communities.
On Friday, April 24, 2026, Amantara successfully hosted the Media Padel Competition alongside a Students & Community Gathering at Indonesia Design District (IDD) PIK2. The two events brought together media professionals, students, and creative communities in a vibrant setting, reflecting the district’s growing role as a hub for design, culture, and lifestyle.
The Media Padel Competition welcomed around 30 representatives from leading national media outlets, including Kompas, Detik, Tempo, Warta Jakarta, TVOne, and Liputan6. Designed as a relaxed yet engaging sporting event, the competition served as an opportunity to strengthen relationships with media partners through an interactive and informal experience, fostering closer connections beyond conventional professional settings.
At the same time, the Students & Community Gathering provided a platform for meaningful interaction and creative exchange among students and various communities, including Komunitas Perempuan Berbudaya Berkarya Indonesia. The session encouraged dialogue, collaboration, and the exploration of ideas within the broader design ecosystem, aligning with IDD’s mission to cultivate a more inclusive and participatory creative environment.
Both initiatives were part of a larger effort to build momentum for IDD PIK2 in preparation for its participation in Salone del Mobile 2026. They also mark the lead-up to upcoming programs such as Indonesia Design Week (IDW) 2026 and a series of School Holiday Events across the PIK area. In addition, these activities support the broader “PIK Berbudaya” campaign, which aims to position PIK as a destination that celebrates culture, art, design, and contemporary lifestyle.
Through these initiatives, Amantara continues to demonstrate its commitment to creating programs that go beyond entertainment—offering meaningful value while strengthening PIK2’s positioning as a dynamic, creative, and sustainable urban destination.
