First-Ever Aeron Hockey Game at Rifyo Design Days 2025

Rifyo marked its 13th anniversary with an energetic and unconventional celebration by hosting the Aeron Hockey Game as part of Rifyo Design Days 2025. Held on 13 December 2025 at the Town Hall, Indonesia Design District (IDD), PIK2, Tangerang, the event transformed the venue into a lively arena where design and community came together.

Running from 13.00 to 17.00 WIB, the Aeron Hockey Game stood out as one of the key highlights of Rifyo Design Days 2025. Organised by Rifyo as a special anniversary activation, the event offered a fresh way to celebrate Rifyo’s journey in the design industry combining friendly competition with a sense of camaraderie among designers.

For the first time ever, the Aeron Hockey Game was staged at Indonesia Design District, reinforcing IDD’s role as a dynamic destination for design-driven events and creative gatherings. The game featured eight teams of invited designers competing in a unique hockey match using Herman Miller Aeron chairs. Played entirely on wheels, the competition demanded agility, teamwork, and strategy, while keeping the atmosphere light-hearted and entertaining. Despite the competitive format, the overall vibe of the event remained fun, friendly, and inclusive. Designers could be seen laughing, cheering, and fully enjoying the experience, turning the matches into moments of connection rather than rivalry.
