ICAD by The Bay Vol. 3: A Reflection of Sustainable Creativity at Indonesia Design Week 2025

As part of Indonesia Design Week (IDW) 2025, ICAD by The Bay Vol. 3 successfully brought a vibrant celebration of contemporary art and design to Emporium Marble, Indonesia Design District (IDD) PIK2). Carrying the theme “Road to Earth Society,” the exhibition became a meaningful reflection on the relationship between humanity, art, and the Earth—encouraging a more sustainable and harmonious way of living through creative expression.

Showcasing works by 50 contemporary artists and designers, the exhibition was divided into five distinctive zones: Special Appearance, Art for Everyone, Spotlight, Art Under the Sun, and Pop-Up! Each zone offered a unique perspective—from interactive public art and immersive outdoor installations to thought-provoking designs addressing ecological and social issues.

One of the highlights was the launch of Ghea Home by Ghea Panggabean at the Saniharto showroom, where Indonesian cultural identity met modern elegance in a refined home collection. Visitors were also invited to engage directly with various installations and outdoor artworks, creating a lively and participatory artistic experience.

The Pop-Up! zone brought together creative curations from fashion, accessories, culinary, and crafts, bridging diverse creative industries into one collaborative space.

Through this event, ICAD by The Bay Vol. 3 not only enriched the visual landscape of IDW 2025 but also underscored the relevance of sustainable design as an essential part of modern living. The exhibition further strengthened IDD PIK2’s role as a creative hub and destination for design and art enthusiasts across disciplines.
