Niskala Raga: A Sports & Wellness Clubhouse Completes Indonesia Design Week 2025

Niskala Raga, a sports and wellness clubhouse designed by Bobos and Dzha, made its debut at Indonesia Design Week 2025. Featuring a padel court and inspired by Indonesia’s natural elements, the installation blends innovation, comfort, and aesthetics

Indonesia Design Week, the annual flagship event of Indonesia Design District (IDD) PIK2, successfully took place from 12–20 September 2025. Over nine days, thousands of visitors joined the grand celebration of design, creativity, and cross-industry collaboration. Among the many highlights, one installation that captured particular attention was the introduction of Niskala Raga, a new addition located at Market Hall featuring a padel court.

Making its debut at IDW 2025, Niskala Raga is a sports and wellness clubhouse designed by creative duo Bobos and DZHA. Drawing from the philosophy of balance between the unseen (niskala) and the physical body (raga), the installation presents a padel court available for visitors to rent and experience.

Inspired by Indonesia’s natural elements, Niskala Raga incorporates blue to represent the ocean, green to reflect lush forests, and orange to evoke the warmth of sunset skies. These colors are expressed through natural materials such as stone, wood, bamboo, and water, creating a space where energy and serenity flow in harmony.

The installation is further enhanced by the support of renowned brands as a collaborator such as Bosch, TACO, Spring Air, ROCA, Maison de Raux Costus Garden, Hanara Nurseries, Indopool, Mandala, Nonna Bona, Oyster Dealer, SVRG, W Line, OSLO, Rufingku, Shunda Plafon, PT Kang, Techno Gym, and Vast Solution. Together, they contributed modern sports equipment, furniture, artistic touches, and landscaping elements — transforming Niskala Raga into a unique environment that merges innovation, comfort, and aesthetics.
