An Afternoon Celebrating Art, Culture, and Connection

Indonesia Design District (IDD) welcomed an inspiring afternoon of art, culture, and meaningful conversations through "Jakarta in Bloom", an intimate gathering presented by SANIHARTO × CAN'S Gallery on Wednesday, 24 June 2026.

Held at IDD, PIK 2, the event brought together collectors, creatives, media representatives, and lifestyle enthusiasts in a thoughtfully curated high tea experience that celebrated the harmony between art, design, and Indonesian heritage.

Reflecting the event's theme, guests arrived in elegant Modern Kebaya and Nusantara-inspired attire, creating a warm and sophisticated atmosphere that paid tribute to Indonesia's rich cultural identity while embracing contemporary aesthetics.

Throughout the afternoon, attendees enjoyed meaningful conversations while exploring a curated presentation of artworks, fostering new connections within Jakarta's creative community. The gathering offered an intimate setting where art became a bridge for dialogue, collaboration, and appreciation among individuals from diverse creative backgrounds.

Complementing the experience was a special culinary presentation by Chef Eddy Siswanto, who served two beloved Indonesian classics—Soto Betawi and Selendang Mayang. The carefully curated menu added a nostalgic local touch, enriching the event by blending visual art with Indonesia's culinary heritage.

"Jakarta in Bloom" reflected the shared vision of SANIHARTO and CAN'S Gallery to create spaces where art extends beyond exhibitions, becoming a platform for conversation, cultural appreciation, and community building. Through this collaboration, the event demonstrated how design, craftsmanship, and hospitality can come together to create memorable experiences.

As Indonesia Design District continues to grow as a destination for design and creative exchange, collaborations such as "Jakarta in Bloom" reinforce IDD's commitment to supporting meaningful cultural initiatives that connect artists, designers, brands, and the wider community.
