“Life is Pattern” at Indonesia Design District

Tangerang, June 2026 — W_ presents Life is Pattern, a multidisciplinary exhibition and book launch taking place from 19–22 June 2026 at the Townhall, Indonesia Design District (IDD), PIK 2.

Centered around the launch of Life is Pattern, the event explores how patterns extend beyond visual design and architecture, influencing creativity, human behavior, and everyday life. The book documents more than a decade of exploration by Stepanus Wijaya, Founder of W_, and features conversations with five Indonesian architects: Adi Purnomo, Reza Wahyudi, Paulus Setyabudi, Nelson Tugiyanto Liaw, and Antonius Richard.

Bringing these ideas into physical form, the exhibition features five architectural installations, each offering a unique interpretation of the Life is Pattern theme. Visitors can also discover Lightone, W_’s innovative material made from recycled resources and developed to support sustainable and customizable design solutions.

Through the intersection of architecture, material innovation, and storytelling, Life is Pattern invites architects, designers, students, and the public to explore the role of patterns in shaping the way we create, think, and live.
