During Indonesia Design Week (IDW) 2025, held from September 12–20, 2025 at the Indonesia Design District (IDD) PIK2, the area transformed into an open exploration space filled with various design and art installations. Every corner of the district offered an immersive visual experience, blending aesthetics, innovation, and sustainability into a cohesive whole.
One of the most eye-catching installations was ICAD: Art Under the Sun, which brought creative spirit into the public realm through outdoor artworks that visitors could enjoy under natural sunlight. This installation symbolized the synergy between art and the environment, offering an experience that was both reflective and delightful.
From the perspective of architecture and materials, Domisilium Studio, in collaboration with Sin-Gres Tiles, presented a tropical-inspired installation that showcased a beautiful interplay of colors. Continuing the exploration of color, TOTO in Colour offered an interactive experience that highlighted the transformation of bathroom design through color, technology, and modern comfort.
Malka showcased two installations—Bentar Jiva and Sun Warrior—each exploring themes of spirituality, energy, and the human connection with nature. Both works stood out with their strong conceptual narratives and striking visual execution.
Equally captivating, Atwork and Luar Living presented contemporary design interpretations emphasizing craftsmanship and the philosophy of daily living. Meanwhile, MM Gallery featured a massive marble installation resembling Stonehenge, symbolizing the strength and endurance of natural materials within the language of modern design.
Adding further diversity, a collaboration between Mana and STVMP Studio showcased experimental material-based design explorations, while Snaidero displayed the elegance of Italian kitchen design—futuristic yet functional.
Together, these installations made IDW 2025 more than just an exhibition—it became a celebration of ideas, art, and design, inspiring visitors to see the future of Indonesia’s creative industry from a fresh perspective.
