IALI Banten Musprov IV Strengthening Regional Resilience Through Green Infrastructure

IALI Banten Musprov IV brought together diverse perspectives to position strategic green infrastructure as a key driver of resilient, sustainable, and connected regional development in Banten.

Ideas, perspectives, and shared commitments to a greener future came together during the 4th Provincial Assembly (Musyawarah Provinsi IV) of IALI Banten, held at MM Galeri, one of the tenants at Indonesia Design District. The forum became a space for reflection and dialogue on how landscape architecture can play a strategic role in shaping Banten’s development trajectory.

Carrying the theme “Strategic Green Infrastructure: Building a Resilient, Sustainable, and Connected Investment Gateway for Banten,” the discussion highlighted the importance of green infrastructure not only as an environmental necessity, but also as a long-term economic and spatial strategy. Throughout the day, participants explored how thoughtful landscape planning can strengthen regional resilience while supporting growth and connectivity.

Insights were shared by speakers from diverse professional backgrounds. Monika Indriasari, Director of PT Townland International, brought perspectives from the private sector, while Raden Ajeng Siti S., Head of Sales and Commercial Department at the Tourism Development Center of Agung Sedayu Group, discussed the intersection between tourism development and sustainable landscapes. Completing the conversation, Faries Fadhil A.A., Senior Horticulturist and Arborist at PT Ruang Hijau, emphasized the technical and ecological aspects of green infrastructure.

From morning until late afternoon, the forum reinforced a shared understanding: that resilient and livable regions begin with well-planned green systems. Through this gathering, IALI Banten reaffirmed its role in encouraging collaboration and strategic thinking, positioning landscape architecture as a key driver in building a sustainable and connected future for the province.
